First appearing at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1979, the Lancia Delta Integrale is synonymous for its domination of the World Rally Championship and Group B rally in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Arriving in June 1993, a further development of the HF Integrale naturally became known as the Evoluzione II, or Evo 2. It featured an updated version of the 2-liter, 16-valve engine with a smaller turbo to reduce lag, and power rising to slightly more than 215bhp.
This Lancia Integrale Evo 2 Giallo Ginestra was manufactured in December 1993 and comes in a special edition colour (1 of 220 in the world), in what was to be the final run of the Evo 2. It features a black alcantara interior that is in impeccable condition, with all four door panels still retaining what appear to be the factory fitted plastic protection sheets.
The car was sold new in Japan with one owner only. The odometer reads 117,610 kms, with a de-registration certificated supplied to verify the kilometres, along with both sets of original keys and the original Lancia handbook.
It features Recaro seats, a Momo steering wheel and pedals. The bodywork is in great condition, with the special edition bright yellow colour giving this car the pop that its rallying heritage deserves. The grills in the front bumper improve the air intake for the engine compartment cooling and the redesigned bonnet with new lateral air slats further assist the under bonnet ventilation. It also contains a fully adjustable roof spoiler above the tailgate and is equipped with 16-inch five bolt original alloy wheels that are fitted with brand new Pirelli tyres.
This is a truly special car with a high degree of originality, representing a pure driving experience that many enthusiasts and collectors crave.
